Swanson’s new 440c Rollers are specifically designed for the car wash environment. Our rollers use stainless-steel shafts in place of the standard mild steel rollers offered by OEM’s. Swanson’s advanced welding and metallurgy team further enhanced the design in January ‘09 by adding a rare ultra high grade of stainless steel to the roller shaft design, and by doing so created Swanson’s new 440c rollers!
Both Flapen and RCV car wash roller styles have been refitted using 440c SS/HT rear shafts. The ultra high grade of stainless steel replaces the need for all the extra sub components found in OEM car wash rollers.
More importantly this “Supercharged” alloy offers the highest strength, hardness and corrosion wear resistance of all stainless steels offered today.
